Wrist Watch Wednesday: Panerai Luminor Marina

In this years last Wrist Watch Wednesday I would like to take a closer look at a watch company that has caught my eye for some time now. It just happens to be the Panerai, specifically the Luminor Marina style. I do not know why but these Panerai watches have

been on my radar for a few years now and have intrigued me with their bulky, rugged look yet very classy appearance. As Panerai was one of the first high end watches I got into when first learning about horology I almost forgot how beautiful they were until I caught an episode of Showtime’s Shameless the other night. One of the characters, Jimmy, endes up pawning off his Panerai. That had me googling the brand and and falling in love all over again.
