Only a few months into the new year and I’ve taken notice to a new trend that has been sweeping across athletes, music artists, and celebrities alike. That trend is the Patek Philippe wristwatch.
Athletes like Conor McGregor and David Beckham have been spotted wearing the brand recently. Popular hip hop artists such as Rihanna and 2Chainz have also been captured wearing the luxurious Patek name on their wrist too. It doesn’t stop there either. Even the ever popular morning talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has taken a like to the Patek brand as she’s been recently wearing a few different models, which is big, considering she’s known for her love of Rolex watches.
Some of the most common Patek Philippe watches that I’ve seen these celebrities wearing are the Patek Philippe Nautilus in almost every metal they available in or laced with diamonds. Others include the skeleton Patek Calatrava, Patek Philippe grand complication with split seconds & perpetual calender, Patek triple grand complication and the Patek annual calendar chronograph.
The questions I am asking is who will be the next big celebrity to be spotted wearing a Patek and will this trend continue throughout the rest of 2018?
